TCU @ Oklahoma
Current Records: TCU 14-4; Oklahoma 13-8
What to Know
The TCU Horned Frogs have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. TCU and the Oklahoma Sooners will face off in a Big 12 battle at 9 p.m. ET on Monday at Lloyd Noble Center. The Horned Frogs will be strutting in after a win while Oklahoma will be stumbling in from a defeat.
TCU was able to grind out a solid victory over the LSU Tigers this past Saturday, winning 77-68. TCU’s success was spearheaded by the efforts of forward Chuck O’Bannon Jr., who had 19 points along with six boards, and guard Mike Miles, who had 19 points and six assists in addition to eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma received a tough blow this past Saturday as they fell 86-68 to the Auburn Tigers. Oklahoma’s loss came about despite a quality game from guard Jordan Goldwire, who had 19 points.
The Horned Frogs are expected to lose this next one by 6. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 4-1 against the spread when expected to lose.
TCU got away with a 59-58 win in the teams’ previous meeting in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for them since the squad won’t have home-court advantage. We’ll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
