Who’s Playing
Fresno State @ Colorado State
Current Records: Fresno State 16-7; Colorado State 18-3
What to Know
The Fresno State Bulldogs haven’t won a game against the Colorado State Rams since Jan. 5 of 2019, but they’ll be looking to end the drought Friday. Fresno State and Colorado State will face off in a Mountain West battle at 9:30 p.m. ET at Moby Arena. The Rams should still be riding high after a win, while the Bulldogs will be looking to get back in the win column.
Fresno State was close but no cigar on Sunday as they fell 61-59 to the Wyoming Cowboys. Guard Isaiah Hill put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 25 points.
Meanwhile, Colorado State beat the Nevada Wolf Pack 82-72 on Tuesday. Colorado State’s forward David Roddy did his thing and had 29 points in addition to eight boards.
The Bulldogs are expected to lose this next one by 5.5. Those burned by picking them against the spread on Sunday might want to keep in mind that the squad has not yet dropped back-to-back games against the spread this season.
Fresno State came up short against the Rams when the two teams previously met in March of last year, falling 72-62. The loss knocked Fresno State out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at Colorado State with a vengeful fire.
